Introducing First Step, our new program aimed at introducing social dance to children and young adults up to age 18! Class sessions are five weeks long and will include a variety of different dance styles.  At the end of each session we will hold a dance party where kids can practice their new skills in a fun social environment.  Our current five week session begins on November 3rd and runs through December 8th.  Classes cap at 60 students and we're filling up fast, so call today to reserve your spot!

Thursday "Social Dance" classes are scheduled from 3:45pm to 5:00pm on November 3, 10, 17 and December 1, 8 with optional practice time following each class from 5:00pm to 5:15pm.  The dance will be Night Club 2-Step.  The party will take place during normal class time on December 15th; there will be NO COST for the party.  We encourage the students to dress up for the party, but that is not required.  A parent helper, Jilene Modlin, will organize the snacks and decorations for each party.  Please see her for details.

Cost is $35.00 per student for the five week session.  All students must be pre-paid for the whole session; we can no longer accept payment per class.

To show our appreciation of all of you, and how much you are loving ballroom dance and the Renaissance program we want to "pay you back" - literally - with our incentive program!  For every NEW student that you bring to class, you get $$$ off of your next series of Lessons!  Here's how it works:

NEW Girl = $1.00 OFF per class x 5 weeks - $5.00 OFF of your next session.

NEW Boy = $2.00 OFF per class x 5 weeks - $10.00 OFF of your next session.

Rules and Restrictions: The new student has to pay for the 5 week series.  You willl receive the $$$ off of the NEXT series.  (Example: Jane Doe brings Bob Smith to the September-October series; Jane Doe will get $10.00 off of the November - December series.)  This incentive program is for the Thursday Social Class series only.

Dance Class Rules & Expectations

1. Always walk – no running, jumping, chasing, etc
2. No gum or candy during class time
3. No texting or using cell phones during class time
4. Wash your hands after using the lavatory, or after sneezing, coughing, etc
5. Always use an appropriate “inside voice” – no shouting, screaming, etc
6. Always be respectful and courteous to teachers, parents, other students, and yourself
7. REMEMBER – everyone is here to have fun and learn, be patient with yourself and others
